APPROACH

“By developing an awareness of our inner landscape, we can learn to show up for ourselves in ways that are curious and compassionate.”   -Amy Rubenstein, PH.D.

Dr. Rubenstein’s unique and integrative approach to treatment combines mindfulness and spiritual inquiry with evidence-based treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE).

Dr. Rubenstein’s calm, nurturing presence is a catalyst for helping patients realign with their fundamental nature: wellbeing of the mind, body and soul. By bringing conscious awareness to the different parts of ourselves and restoring balance, we open up to a greater sense of agency and ease in our lives.

A firm believer in conscious and mindful, rather than reactive or fear-based living, Dr. Rubenstein works with patients to identify patterns, challenge limiting beliefs and rewrite old narratives dominated by self doubt and negative thoughts. She offers provenly effective tools, techniques and accountability strategies that support patients on their journey towards wholeness.
